associating a word and the corresponding image.
Software indicates students the cards to be taken, then they are shown words and who has the corresponding card says so.
Preparation of file with words and cards showing corresponding drawings.
Master-mind Reflection-deduction :
according to Master-Mind principles, pupil must find a 5 letter word deducting it fron answers given by computer.

Mysterious-
sentence
Anticipation-deduction :
game of the handman on a whole sentence. Students give a letter which is inserted in all the settings where it is to be found in the sentence.
Selection of sentence shown to the players.

ELMO INTERNATIONAL games are naturally aimed at training reading techniques.
But they have to be regarded as games and not as additional exercices. For example : games periods will be separated from training periods.
This is one of the conditions for the students to feel they are playing with ELMO INTERNATIONAL as with any computer game : the most important feature at the reading games, is not pedagogical, it is play.


We don't play to read : we read to play.
